Privacy Policy

1The short version

This summary is here to be readable — the numbered sections below are the policy that actually governs the app.

2Information we collect

a. Information you give us

None. QuickMath Quest has no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, photo or location, and there is nowhere in the app to enter them.

b. Information stored on your device

Your gameplay data stays on your phone, in the app’s own private storage. This includes:

• Level progress, scores and best results for each of the 20 game modes
• Your daily streak, achievement badges and accuracy statistics
• Settings such as sound, theme and language preference

We cannot read this data, it is never uploaded to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

If you choose to share a Daily Challenge result, the app hands the text to your device’s own share sheet. You pick the destination, and we receive nothing back — we never see what you shared or who you sent it to.

c. Information collected automatically by third parties

Like most apps, we rely on a few automated third-party tools that collect limited non-personal technical and usage data in order to work. Broadly, that means:

• Usage events — for example “game started”, “level completed”, or which mode was opened
• Device and app information — device model, operating system version, app version, language and general region
• Crash diagnostics — the technical state of the app at the moment it crashed
• Advertising identifiers — a resettable device ad ID used to serve and measure ads

This information is not used by us to identify you, and we do not combine it with anything that would.

3Third-party services we use

To run and improve the app we use the following services. Each one processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Firebase Analytics — tells us which of the 20 modes are popular and where players get stuck, so we can rebalance difficulty and fix problems. Non-personal usage events and general device information only.
• Firebase Crashlytics — reports crashes with technical diagnostics so we can fix them.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers optional push notifications, such as a streak reminder or an important update notice.
• Google AdMob — serves the ads that keep the app free, in line with Google’s Families policy.
• Google Play services — handles app distribution, update checks and the in-app rating prompt.

4Advertising and your choices

QuickMath Quest is free and supported by ads shown through Google AdMob. Two kinds of ads appear:

• Standard ads — banners and occasional full-screen ads between rounds.
• Rewarded ads — entirely optional. If a run ends, you may be offered an extra life in exchange for watching a short video. Declining costs you nothing but that life.

We configure our ad units to serve content appropriate for a general, family-friendly audience, consistent with the Google Play Families policy. Where a user is treated as a child or where required by law, ads are served on a non-personalized basis.

5Permissions we request

We ask for as little as the app can function with:

• Notifications — optional, and only requested so we can send streak reminders and update notices. Declining it does not limit any game mode, and you can turn notifications off later in your device settings.
• Internet access — used to load ads, send crash reports and check for updates. Gameplay itself never requires it.
• Advertising ID — used by AdMob to serve and measure ads.

We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, calendar or precise location.

6Children’s privacy

QuickMath Quest is designed to be safe for players of all ages, including children. We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR as it applies to children (“GDPR-K”) and the Google Play Families policy:

• No names, email addresses or other personally identifiable information are collected from any user, of any age.
• No accounts, sign-ups or logins are required or offered.
• There is no chat, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact each other.
• Analytics and crash data are used solely to operate and improve the app — an “internal operations” use under COPPA — never to build advertising profiles of individual children.
• Ads shown to child users are non-personalized and filtered for family-friendly content.

Because we do not collect personal information from children, verifiable parental consent is not required. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please email us at softmobixbd@gmail.com and we will investigate and delete it promptly.

7Why we may process data (legal bases)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a similar jurisdiction, our legal bases for processing the limited non-personal technical data described above are:

• Legitimate interests — keeping the app stable, diagnosing crashes, understanding aggregate usage, and preventing fraud and abuse.
• Consent — for push notifications and, where applicable, for personalized advertising. You may withdraw either at any time through your device settings.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

8Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export or restrict the processing of personal data about you, and to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

In practice, our answer to most of these requests is short: we hold no personal data about you to retrieve, correct or delete. What you can control directly is:

• Delete all your game data — uninstall the app, or clear its storage in your device settings. This removes your progress, streak, stats and achievements permanently.
• Limit ad tracking — reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.
• Stop notifications — turn them off for QuickMath Quest in your device notification settings.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so. If you would still like to make a formal request, email softmobixbd@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9Data retention

We do not operate servers that store personal data, so there is no personal profile of you for us to keep. The remaining data is retained as follows:

• On-device game data — kept until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it.
• Analytics data — retained by Firebase in aggregated form under Google’s standard retention settings.
• Crash reports — retained by Crashlytics for up to 90 days.

10International data transfers

Our third-party providers are global services and may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Google relies on its own approved safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — for those transfers. Details are available in the Google Privacy Policy.

11Data security

We keep the attack surface as small as possible: we run no accounts, no login system and no database of users, so there is nothing tied to your identity for us to lose. The app is distributed as a signed package through Google Play, and all network traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

The limited technical data described in this policy is processed by Firebase and AdMob under Google’s own security and privacy programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we believe collecting almost nothing is the strongest protection we can offer you.

12Links to other services

The app and this website may link to services we do not control — Google Play, an advertiser’s landing page, or a third-party policy document. Once you follow such a link, that service’s own privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services and encourage you to read their policies.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes — for example when we add a game mode or a new third-party service. When we do, we revise the Last updated date at the top of this page, and material changes will also be highlighted in the app or in the release notes.

Continuing to use QuickMath Quest after an update means you accept the revised policy. We encourage you to check this page occasionally.
