What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
In short: NumIQ lets you play as an anonymous guest with no personal information at all, or link a Google account to save your progress across devices. We never sell your data. The third-party services we use (Google AdMob for ads, Google Play Billing for purchases, Firebase for accounts/sync/crash reporting/notifications) each collect limited data described below.
NumIQ is developed and published by SoftMobiXBD (softmobixbd), an independent mobile game studio based in Bangladesh, operating as an individual developer — not a registered company. This Privacy Policy explains how NumIQ ("we," "our," "the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app. By using NumIQ, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Account information. When you play as a guest, we create an anonymous device account with no personal information attached. If you choose to link a Google account, we receive your Google display name, email address, and profile photo URL.
Gameplay data. We store your puzzle solves, streaks, XP, coin balance, badges, IQ score, difficulty preferences, and puzzle history so your progress carries across sessions and devices.
Puzzle reports. If you report a puzzle as incorrect or confusing, we store the reason you selected, any optional details you type, and a snapshot of that puzzle so our team can review it. Reports are visible only to you and to us.
Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store a device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) used only to send you gameplay-related reminders (daily challenge reminders, streak warnings).
Purchase information. If you buy NumIQ Pro or a coin pack, the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — we only receive confirmation that a purchase was made.
Advertising & crash data. If you're on the free tier, our ad provider (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to your device's ad tracking permissions. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us an anonymized crash report (stack trace, device model, OS version) containing no personal information.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app shows a consent dialog (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any ads are loaded. You can choose whether to allow personalized ads; NumIQ works fully either way. You can revisit this choice any time the consent requirement applies by reinstalling the app or through your device's ad settings.
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. Access to gameplay data is restricted to your own account — no other player can read or write your personal records. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
As a Bangladesh-based developer, we aim to honor the principles of Bangladesh's Personal Data Protection Act, 2026 — in particular, that you own your personal data and that we should only collect, store, or use it with your knowledge and for the purposes described in this policy. Some categories of personal data under that Act are expected to be stored within Bangladesh; NumIQ's data is currently hosted on Google Firebase's regional infrastructure (Singapore), the same setup common to most Bangladeshi apps built on global cloud platforms. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (progress, stats, puzzle history, reports) at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This does not automatically cancel an active Play Store subscription — cancel that separately in the Play Store to stop future billing.
NumIQ is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of NumIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
